Yes, I saw a video (which for some reason I can't find now...) where in response to rumors of the possibility of a female incarnation of the Doctor, someone (maybe Steven Moffat) 'went on record' to say that, "The Queen of England should be played by a man."...

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #3 - More exposition and jokes.
We're back and Akurei still hasn't thrown out that disgusting
chunky salsa dip... (Believe us, if
we told you how that came to be, you'll wish we had not.)
...or eaten it all. Seriously, that stuff is awful! (More
like awesomely bad***! *crunch*) *gags* (Ew,
gross! Was that a bone!?)
Well, let's get going and pray no one else will become nacho dip...

The End of Oreimo
Well, I'm just about to watch the last episode of "Ore No Imouto Ga Konna Ni Kawaii Wake Ga Nai!" or translated into English, "There's No Way My Little Sister Can Be This Cute!" but that's absurdly long, so I refer to it as "Oreimo"...along with (I assume) a good portion of its viewers. Also, technically, this is the last episode of the second season...and the last episode of the first season had text in it that referred to it as a "good end", so I'm worried the last episode of this season will be a "bad end"...
...Well, time to bit the bullet...

Pollnalysis: A Ship of Rin and Haruka from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club, is this a thing (you support)?
Here's the results of the first poll on According to an Otaku...
So, three out of the four votes I got were in favor while one was against and none of the other results got any votes. It was only after the poll opened that I realized that there was one potential response missing, "Meh, I don't even watch that show." Although I thought that "Meh, I don't care either way" would cover it.
TL;DR: The result is either mostly support for Foe Yay or I hardly get any readers, if not both.
Yeah! I'm boarding that ship!

The End of Maoyu
OK, this is it, a war started between two human cultures while humanity is fighting a war against demon (who turn out to be from another world INSIDE their own) and the Hero apparently has to fight the Demon Lord (who got possessed by, at least one of, the spirit of previous demon lords). 'Till that point, she (yes, I said "she") was a more intelligent (and genre savvy) ruler who (strangely enough) seeks to not 'rule' the world but rather 'save' the world...with the Hero's help of course.
And, no, it's not that I'm not bothering to remember their names. The characters in this series are seriously referred to by their titles rather than names, even when they technically have more than one. The Demon Lord and the Crimson Scholar are actually the same person (even though there is a point where the elder of the Maid Sisters poses as the Crimson Scholar), same thing with the Hero and the Black Knight.
Let's do our best to see the other side of that hill..
Warning!: This post contains spoilers if you haven't seen the entire series yet.

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #2 - Loads of exposition and dead baby comedy.
Last time on 999, Junpei escaped from a flooding cabin room on a... (presumably) ...sinking cruise liner, put there by some dude... (or dudette...) to play the most dangerous game, The Nonary Game. And now where we left off...

Overthinking Things: 999, Digital Roots, and Numerology.
Even when I was playing Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors before I started the Visual Novelist LP arc about it, I noticed how finding the digital root of a set of numbers was similar to, if not exactly like, the use of numbers in the study of numerology.

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #1 - Super Drowning Skills
OK, this is a new thing for me; the First Impressions post for Shin Megami Tensei IV ended up like an LP sort-of by accident, this time I'm doing that on purpose. And, yes, I do realize that this game came out several years ago. Still the only endings I've managed to see are the Ax and Submarine endings... (**** you really suck at this game.) And there's only one save file, so for a clean play through, I had to delete my previous data. Also, due to the nature of this game, yes I will include repeat playthoughs, but only include anything that's different from any of the previous ones. I Don't want to repeat myself more than necessary here.
So, now that that's out of the way, let's play...Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors! (Or "999" for short.)
