Well, it's a new day, time to see what happens this time...
(So...you, yet again, messed around with the Pokemon amie feature again...) But now,it's time to face the challenge of that...pop star... I think... (But first, a walk through some tall grass...and just before you get out of the grass...)
'A wild Bunnelby appeared!' Go! Nukibata! Oh dear, she needs to be healed...no matter, Sosaruyaku can handle it from here. Then, we heal the team. (Yo! Dude! This Bunnelby just tackled me, dude!) (And it looks like Sosaruyaku's going to test out his new attack, Fury Swipes...) (It hit twice, leaving Sosaruyaku open for a tackle from the enemy.) (Let's have a Scratch at this!) (And...the wild Bunnelby's only response is a Tackle.) I think one more Scratch should do it... (But the Bunnelby gets in a Quick Attack first.) (Doesn't matter, that last Scratch actually did bring it down!) (I may have gotten a bit stronger... I think...)
Now that I've got everybody's HP in the green, let's step out of the grass... and he spots me, figures...
Rising Star: I haven't been able to sleep very well for days! I don't know if I'm up for a battle...
If that's the case, you didn't have to walk up and challenge me.
'You are challenged by Rising Star Hamish! Rising Star Hamish sent out Kadabra!' Woah! We don't have any one who does any Dark-type moves... I guess Sosaruyaku can just use Vine Whips for now, for the same-type bonus. (But before Sosaruyaku could, the Kadabra tried to cause some Confusion... And Sosaruyaku's HP is in the red.) Let's see if Hajizuku can do better... (Kadabra tries to use Kinesis...but it misses.) (Here's some Bubble on the double!) Can you please avoid Team Rocket references... (No one referenced any Team Rocket rhymes.) (Not that you understand, anyway.) (Still, Kadabra used Kinesis again... and this time suceeds...at bending a spoon. Which somehow lowered Hajizuku's accuracy...?) (At least that Bubble got Kadabra's HP into the yellow.) (Once more!) (Kadabra's bending spoons again, but this time it distracts Hajizuku enough for his Bubble attack to miss.) Third time's the charm! (Let's get Bubble-ly around here!) (More spoon bending, okay, is this just a one-trick Kadabra here?) But at least this Bubble attack hit its mark! (I think one more successful attack should do it!) (The Kadabra Confuses Hajizuku... and it's enough for his Water Gun to miss.) (But seriously, a Water Gun this time?) (Maybe so he can go out with...) (Don't you DARE finish THAT!) It's Tackle time! (Another Confusion, and another missed attack. Time to switch out.) Yeah, Suguiko, let's end this battle! (And she's hit with a Confusion that should've ended Hajizuku.) Now it's time to Quickly launch an Attack! (And Kadabra's down!) (Maybe, I can learn some new tricks soon...) Sosaruyaku, Hajuzuku, and Tsunebiki also power up.
Hamish: I knew it... I really gotta get some sleep!
'Shimohi received [Pokedollar]780 for winning!'
'What? Tsunebiki is evolving!' Woah! This is a huge moment! My partner is growing up... *shedding liquid pride*
'Congratulations! Your Fenniken just evolved into a Braixen!' Yeah and... Tsunebiki's still a single-type Fire-Pokemon. (Hey! Maybe I can last longer in a fight now! Cool huh!?) (*grumble, grumble* Why do I have to use a stone to get stronger like that..!?) (Congratulations, Tsunebiki! But, if you're still a normal Fire-type, why do you have that stick in your tail...?) (Maybe...so he can learn some...cool tricks later?) (Either way, you look...) (Awesome, dude!)
In other news, I found the other end of a railing I saw yesterday. And I found... A Super Potion! Now back to the Pokemon Center for a quick heal and back to the route... (Not the type to skate uphill... Why not!?) Feeling a bit too lazy for that. Oh! What's down this rail? But, before I forget, an evolution means a new Pokedex entry...
'Braixen the Fox Pokemon: It has a twig stuck in its tail. With friction from its tail fur, it sets the twig on fire and launches into battle.' So, that's the purpose of that stick in your tail. (Can anyone say "instant torch".) (So... [sarcasm] that stick works as a flashlight [/sarcasm]?) (Not the stupid "British meaning" of the word "torch"!) (You do know that was supposed to be a joke, right?) Now back to answering the question of "what's at the bottom of this rail?"! And... that looks like a berry tree!
'Shimohi found an Oran Berry! Shimohi put the Oran Berry in the BERRIES Pocket.' Let's see if I can get any more...
'There are small Berries growing high up in the tree! But they seem impossible to reach.' Well, that answers my question.' (Then back to the Pokemon Center again...) At least this time I wanted to check on one of my Pokemon in the PC... Oh, that... (You saw that PR Video.) Okay, I'm going over there to make a better version of it! (Several minutes of fiddling around with the video editor in the PR Video Studio later...) Yes! I have something I'd be willing to show everyone! And, best of all it also features my partner, Tsunebiki! (Do we look really cool!?) I believe we do. (All right!) Now back to the route! (Again...) (Speaking of again...)
'A wild Plusle appeared!' Alright, Sosaruyaku, let's see if we can catch this little guy! Scratch! (And the little one Growls at the mean herb monkey...) (Yo, you know I have a name, right?) (Did he just say something?) Nothing you need to know. Anyway, keep it up! And now... Well, it turns out I only have Great Balls left. Still, here we go! *focuses*
'Gotcha! Plusle was caught!' You know what this means...
'Plusle the Cheering Pokemon: It cheers on friends with pom-poms made of sparks. It drains power from telephone poles.' I'm nicknaming the little guy... "Spark +", pronounced "Spark Plus".
Out of one grass patch battle into another grass patch...
'A wild Skiddo appearted!' (And another battle. Might as well catch this one as well.) (A series of Scratches from Sosaruyaku and Tail Whipping from the wild Skiddo later...) Great Ball! Go! *focuses*
'Gotcha! Skiddo was caught!' (Suguiko leveled up and learns Flail in place of Tackle.) And it's Pokedex time again!
'Skiddo the Mount Pokemon: Thought to be one of the first Pokemon to live in harmony with humans, it has a placid disposition.' What to name this lady here... "Shibafu", "Lawn"... "Ohitsuji", "Ram"... "Shibatsuji"... Yeah, that's the nickname I'll use! Anyway, I want to add Shibatsuji to the team. (Yo, sounds like I'm being put on reserve.) Well, along the way back to Lumiouse City, I catch a Gulpin!
'Gulpin the Stomach Pokemon: It has a small heart and brain. Its stomach comprises most of its body, with enzymes to dissolve anything.' I'm nicknaming her... "Dainii" (Huh?) From "Daini", "Second" and "I", stomach. (So, this Gulpin is your "Second Stomach"? *da-dun-tish*) (*facepalm*)
We have a confrontation with a Pancham, but Nukibata prevails! And Hajizuku levels up and learns Bite in place of Water Gun. (*ji...*) What? Both Bubble and Water Gun have the same power, accuracy and they're both special attacks. The only difference is that Water Gun has less five PP and doesn't have any chance of altering the opponents speed like Bubble does.
'What? Hajizuku is evolving!' (WOOT! All aboard the evolution express!) 'Congratulations! Your Hajizuku evolved into a Wartortle!' And now for the new Pokedex entry!
'Wartortle the Turtle Pokemon: When tapped, this Pokemon will pull in its head, but its tail will stick out a little bit.' (Just "a little bit", more like it'll stick out "a lot"!) And finally we make it back to the Pokemon Center in Lumiose City... (Yet again...) ...and we officially meet Shibatsuji for the first time! (Yeah... I'm very...pleased to meet you... *drops off to sleep*) (Kind of a sleepy lady isn't she?) And now, for... (More Pokemon Amie...) And back to route exploration, there's a battle where a bunch of Tackles are exchanged between Nukibata and a Bunnelby. And then, just when I think I can quickly skate past a couple of skaters...
Roller Skater: The rules of a Pokemon battle are simple, you see. Rule one: battle. Rule two: win!
'You are challenged by Roller Skater Florin! Roller Skater Florin sent out Doduo!' All right, Nukibata, let's show him what we've got! Headbutt! (And then the two-headed bird flinched from that attack!) Again! (And he flinched...again.) Once more, for the win! (And Doduo's down! And Nukibata leveled up!)
Florin: You followed the rules perfectly!
'Shimohi received [Pokedollar]384 for winning!'
Florin: Route 5 is our street, you know? We call it Versant Road... It's the place to be if you want to see some sick skating tricks and hot Pokemon moves!
Sounds like this is Terry's heaven. ("Terry"?) Yeah, "Terry", it's my nickname for Tierno.

Sorry for the abrupt end like this, but... While working on this it became too much work to do a text-based Let's Play of this game and by now, I've already gone further ahead in the main story than this post is.
And so, I'm cancelling this Let's Play. I'm still going to do Pokemon Conquest... At least I think I can still do that. Still, have a nice day everyone...
