PPS Officer: Pokemon Conquest #2 - Stream of Grinding.

Okay, and we're back! (About time as well! I mean, you're over six months late!) I'd rather not talk about the circumstances behind that. Anyway... Let's see what happens in the ancient kingdom of Aurora this time...

-February, Year 1-

Okay, it's a new month. So...
Oichi: ...! Look, Lord Shimohi! That place looks like it'd be full of wild Pokemon! It might be a good idea to do a little training.
Indeed...

Shimohi: Let's go! "I'll show you what I'm made of!"

-Victory-

-Defeat-
(Well, after the wild Pokemon made their move...)
'Turns left: 10'
'Shimohi's army's turn.'

Oichi: Look, Lord Shimohi, over there...  It's a Wooper...
Yeah, I saw that Wooper over there. What about it?

Oichi: If I recall correctly, Woopers have the Water Gun move.

'Some moves, like Water Gun, allow you to attack a wide area.'

Oichi: Each Pokemon has a set move that they can use, so be sure to think about your tactics before entering battle!
Okay, I'll keep that in mind. I wonder what's in that present... Oichi, could you and Jigglypuff see what's in it? (Jigglypuff moves two spaces to the left.) And...wait.

'Item acquired: Potion! Oichi has equipped the Potion.'
Nice to know that an ally of mine has something to heal themselves with. Eevee, we're moving one step up! (And, waiting of course.)

'Enemy's turn.'
(Wooper moves about five spaces, three left and two down.) (While the Meowth moves three spaces down.)
'Shimohi's army's turn.'
'Turns left: 9'
Jigglypuff, move two spaces left, one space up and use Doubleslap on the Meowth! (It deals 4, 4, and 5 damage with three hits.) While Eevee moves two spaces up and then uses Quick Attack on the Wooper! (Dealing 16 damage.)

'Enemy's turn'
(Meowth moves down and to the left then uses Fury Swipes dealing 1,1, and 2 damage.) (While the Whooper moves 3 steps left into the nearby stream.)

'Shimohi's army's turn.'
'Turns left: 8'
(And... The Jigglypuff's Lullaby ability puts Meowth to sleep.)

Oichi: Are you all right, Jigglypuff? Lord Shimohi, at times like this you should select the Warrior option. You see, battles aren't just about telling your Pokemon where to move and when to fight. It's a Warrior's job to help out their Pokemon on the battlefield.
Well, of course. They're our partners and we're their partners.

Oichi: You can use items... And you can use Warrior Skills.... You may not be fighting yourself, but you and your Pokemon are a team. Working together with your Pokemon in battle is what it truly means to be a Warrior. My Warrior Skill is Sweet Song. It can be really helpful when you're in a bind.

'Warriors can help their Pokemon in battle by using their various Warrior Skills. Warrior Skills can only be used once each in every battle or training session.'
Okay, Jigglypuff, finish off that Meowth while I take the fight to this Wooper! (And Jigglypuff deals a critical 8 damage, pwning the Meowth. Who leaves a box behind.) (As for Eevee, he moves 3 spaces left as well and uses Quick Attack on the Wooper. Dealing 18 damage, pwning the Wooper and clearing the map.) I guess I'll never know what was in the box that Meowth left behind...

(Both Shimohi's link rate with Eevee was raised to 16.87%. While Oichi's link rate with Jigglypuff was raised to 15.82%.) (And Jigglypuff's Strength was raised to 73. It doesn't seem like anything happened with Eevee. Sorry dude.)

'All Warriors have finished their turns. Advance to the next month?'

-Yes-
-No-
-------------------------------
(Wow, this has got to be the shortest post ever!) And it was mostly tutorials and grinding. (See you next month! ...Why are we doing commentary work?) Because I wasn't sure now we'd fit in the usual jokes and stuff. (How about this, you stick to plot while I take care of the jokes!) In additon to the commentary? (Yeah.) But what about Niyagi? (...Does it sound like I want to make jokes in a Pokemon game?) Not really. Okay, sounds good to me.
