Wakfu: The First Impressions

I've just seen the first episode of a series recommended to me by a friend... And, yes, I'm well aware that this is a French series (that fact that it's subtitled while everyone's speaking French is undoubtedly the biggest clue), but it has an anime style of art similar to Code Lyoko (another French animated show I like). In short, yes, I'm counting this as an anime. It's really a Japanese shorthand for their pronunciation of "animation", so technically all animation is "anime". As for what I thought of it...

It's set in an awesome fantasy world (always a "plus" in my proverbial books) that features a type of magic/life force for which the series seems to be named after. The personality and/or attitude of our hero, Yugo, is in such a way that I wouldn't be at all surprised if he and Klonoa were long lost siblings or something. Along with the beginnings of some plot threads... Is Yugo really a "dragon"? (If that means "magical reptilian beings" or something else is yet to be determined.) How much of a threat are these demonic beings/items/whatever beings referred to as "Shushu" really? Not to mention who the crap was that guy from earlier who tried to kill both baby Yugo and that "dragon" guy (I can't remember his name but it's kind of long.)... But it seems that this first guy we saw who got possessed by a "Shushu" is not only going to be hanging around for a while, but he also thinks he's the hero of this story... (LOL! That's a laugh...)

So, just as that friend of mine suspected, I like this series and I'm going to watch the second episode just after I'm done typing and posting this! Anyway, I'm also going to put a link to the first episode in right... Here! But, FYI, if you're using an AdBlocker program, I'd suggest you disable it for this site. It can prevent you from seeing it past the start of the opening theme.

The End of Silver Spoon

By now I've seen about two semesters of Yugo Hachiken's time at Ooezo High School. And... I'm sorry, but I don't really have that much to say about it aside from this.

Our hero learned to appreciate good food and hard work more and is now more assertive than before and I enjoyed watching him work his way to that. Although, I have to admit, some of that is from the fact that Yugo's abuse (self-inflicted or otherwise) tends to look rather hilarious in this series.

Visual Novelist: Hakuoki ~Memories of the Shinsengumi~ #13 - I don't want to be The Load!

(Well, Heisuke's now a...) Dude! Spoiler alert! What if people are just looking at my blog for the first time and haven't seen any of the previous posts! (...I don't think anyone regularly reads your blog. Don't worry about it. Oh, and, while we're not on Heisuke's route yet... Let's just get on with the Let's Play already...)

Role-Playing Gamer: Conception II #3 - Don't call me...to women!

Welcome back, this time we're getting the third team together and take on a Dusk Circle! (Sigh, due to the already large similarities to both Persona 3 and 4, we're going to handle dungeon crawling like we do in the Megaten Demonologist Let's Plays of the aforementioned games.) A general summary of the end results and skipping reporting on all battles except for those involving a boss. (An alternate title for this post would be "De-javu Time"... But, anyway, boo-ya! It's going to be fighting time!)

Warning: This game is rated M for mature for Fantasy Violence, Language, Mild Blood, Partial Nudity, and Sexual Themes. If any of the following offends you, don't click the link to pass the jump break you have been warned.

Visual Novelist: DRAMAtical Murder #1 - Rib, Rhyme, and the beginning of the Common Route.

Yo! This time we're going to play... DRAMA... (...tical Murder!) (Wait a minute!? Isn't that one of those "gay" visual novels you've wanted to play?) If by "gay" you mean "Boys Love", then you're right. (Yeah... I don't want any part of this.) Okay, your loss. (Pansy, I'd think you'd be thankful Shimohi's not playing Sweet Pool right now.) (Wha...!? Th-that... *faints*) Akurei, dude, even I'm kind of squicked by Sweet Pool. Oh well, let's get this game started...

Warning: This game likely contains strong language, drug references (do Aoba's "headache pills" and the "light drugs" count?), and will have parts that are most definitely NOT SAFE FOR WORK! Also, there's likely triggers for rape-related PTSD in this game as a whole. You have been warned.

MegaTen Demonologist: P3P (Male) #1 - Becoming an hero.

Yo! This is the start of one of two Let's Plays of the portable version of the game that put the Persona series on the map, in the states at least, Persona 3! This one stars the male protagonist, aka Minato Arisato, Makoto Yuuki, or Sakuya Shiomi; depending on your source. (Manga, Movies, or Stage Play; in that order.) (But, let me guess, you're going to rename the protagonist "Shimohi Kagami". Aren't you?) Yes, yes I am. (Figures...) Anyway, thoughts of mine... (In other words, stuff not spoken out loud.) Are going to be colored a light lavender, like this. Because it's kind of in-between blue and pink.

Warining: This game is rated M for Mature for containing Blood, Language, Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes, and Violence.

MegaTen Demonologist: P3P (Female) #1 - No! Don't do it!

Yo! This is the start of one of two Let's Plays of the portable version of the game that put the Persona series on the map, in the states at least, Persona 3! This one stars the female protagonist, aka Kotone Shiomi or... (As Shimohi likes to refer to her.) ...Hinako Arisato. (And that first one comes from the Stage Plays.) (Wait! Are you STILL going to rename the protagonist "Shimohi Kagami"!?) Why not, it's not like there's anything in the name "Shimohi" that implies that it's exclusively a male name. Right? (*sigh*)

Warining: This game is rated M for Mature for containing Blood, Language, Partial Nudity, Sexual Themes, and Violence.

PPS Officer: Pokemon X Version #4 - Burning wands of fire and flowing tails of water!

Well, it's a new day, time to see what happens this time...

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #10 - Deductive Recoding.

In this entry of the Danganronpa Let's Play we're going to cover the Daily Life section between Leon's killing of Sayaka and the next killing...

Warning: This is an LP of a game that contains blood, intense violence, strong language, and suggestive (read "sexual") themes. If any of those things offend you, don't click on the link below.

Visual Novelist: Hakuoki ~Memories of the Shinsengumi~ #12 - Operation "Saving Captian Heisuke"!

And... We're back! Now, let's see what's going to happen next... (*looks down* I have some good news and some bad news. As for what that is, read on to find out...)

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #26 - Demonic Heritage

As I recall, this is a puzzle room I haven't encountered before... (Ever!) So, I'm absolutely going to record what I do to solve the puzzles in here. No guide used what so ever! (We're going to be in for the long hall...)

Visual Novelist: Hakuoki ~Memories of the Shinsengumi~ #11 - A fate determined by her blood.

Last time, I've finally made some progress on the romance front! (And this time, a revelation is made... That I knew about already.)

Visual Novelist: Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney #10 - New Jersey got dibs.

(Wow Shimohi, you sure took your time getting back to work on this series.) Yeah, yeah... Well the important thing is that I haven't dropped this LP and I'm back to work on it. So here it is! The last part of the Turnabout Samurai arc! (Nope, we actually have another round of investigation and one more trial.) *sigh* So, let's just hang in there; shall we...

The End of Hunter X Hunter.

"Enjoy all the little detours." Yeah, but in my case this was a HUGE detour in my life (as far as watching anime goes) but... Yeah, I enjoyed every minute of it. More about my thoughts about this version of the Hunter X Hunter anime adaptation (and, of course, spoilers) at the other side of this jump break...

Overthinking Things: DRAMAtical Murder, Freudian psychology, and Neuroplasticity.

As mentioned in the post about the ending of the anime version of DRAMAtical Murder, I noticed some things... More after the jump break! (Warning: Implied spoilers for both the anime and the game can be found in the rest of this post).

The End of DRAMAtical Murder.

Well, eleven more episodes after seeing that first episode. What are my thoughts about this adaptation of a BL visual novel? (Spoiler alert: After this post, I'm going to start a Let's Play of the original visual novel) Speaking of which, I'll be talking about the anime adaptation of DRAMAtical Murder as a whole, and also a bit about the original visual novel as a result so...

SPOILER ALERT! Don't click past the jump break if you haven't seen the anime and/or don't want to be spoiled about the visual novel as well.

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #25 - Shimohi's Bizarre Playthrough.

*takes a breath* ..."Two Stars, fallen from the heavens..." ("Swallowed by waters swirling light and dark...") "Their ripples move out, pulled toward each other. The sun will guide, the man who walks the path of honor!" ("As for the man, who follows his ambitions... A sacrifice awaits!") (Wait a minute! is this...?)

"With a pounding heart and burning will..."  ("With fists like thunder and overflowing bravery...") "He steps forward..." ("Without a doubt!") "It's..." [simultaneous] "A fate determined by his blood! Jojo!" ("A fate determined by his blood! Jojo!") (Okay, enough with your bizarre slightly edited version of "Jojo - Destiny of his blood" and get on with this Let's Play already!)

The End of Katekyo Hitman Reborn

Another series I started watching before the blog started, which now, I've finally watched 'till...the "End"...

So, my thoughts about the comedy anime/manga series turned battle anime/manga series titled in America as simply "Reborn" as a whole... After the jump break of course.

Visual Novelist: Hakuoki ~Memories of the Shinsengumi~ #10 - It falls apart.

Okay, now we've gone through the November backlog for this particular Let's Play. (Except for the fact that the reference jar amounts is still from the past.) Also, wow, I took a really long time to actually get this post published...

Note: A Software Update to this game was installed in the middle of this portion of the playthrough.

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #24 - Science Boy the Mannequin!

So now we tackle the laboratory... (And Shimohi makes Junpei care way too much about a lifeless mannequin.) To you, caring about anything that isn't human even on the most basic level is too much...

DRAMAtical Murder: The First Impressions

Yes, I know, the spelling of this series name is a bit odd; but that's the way it's presented. So that's how I'm going to type it. But this isn't going to be your usual first impressions post. For one thing, I actually already heard of this series before...

Sword Art Online II: The First Impressions

Now, as I recall, this blog was started after I saw the first episode of Sword Art Online so that's why there's no First Impressions post for the first season. Now that the second series has aired, maybe I can also talk about my thoughts on the first series at the same time...

Free! Eternal Summer: The First Impressions

It's most definetely summer! And, you know what time it is! (Time to spin The Wheel of Mythicality?) No, this isn't Good Mythical Morning... (Time to spin The Wheel of Morality...?) "Turn, turn, turn, tell us the lesson that we should learn..." Nope. Besides, Akurei, what are you doing here? (Just wanted to do that one gag, carry on.) Anyway, what I wanted to say is... Season Two of Free! Iwatobi Swim Club is here!

More on this after the jump break...

Black Bullet: The First Impressions

So...An insectoid infection, young girls cursed from birth by the very virus at the source of the aforementioned insectoid infection, but they and their partners are the last hope for humanity’s survival... This is my first impressions of Black Bullet!

The End of Hakuoki Reimeiroku (plus, the first season of Hakuoki itself)

Well, this unintentionally ended up being a milestone post for my blog. (Yeah, this is going to the the 100th published post!) (Wait, so you're counting the "First Impressions", all of the Let's Play series, "This Week in", "Random Rambling Rants", and the "Overthinking Things" posts in this count?) Yeah, why not? Those entries are part of the blog as well. Anyway, as this posts title suggests, I'm going to type about my thoughts on not just the anime adaptation of the prequel to this particular otome game series and the first season of the anime adaptation of the main otome game itself. (Shameless plug incoming... We also have a Let's Play running of the 3DS port of that very game right on this blog!) So, with out further ado, this is the end of Hakuouki (Reimeiroku and the first season of the main series)...

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #23 - Here we go again...

Well, here's the continuation of the third playthrough of Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors. (And, given the pattern here, I would not be surprised if Daemon tries to kill you again...)

No Game No Life: The First Impressions

Our world... It's a world where fate is cruel and order unkind... Where conformity is worshipped and anything that's in any way different is crushed and tossed aside... But, if you find out that you've been born in the wrong world, would you accept an invitation to another world? One where it's promised that you'll thrive? More on my thoughts about the first episode of "No Game No Life" after the jump cut...

The End of The World God Only Knows: Goddesses

Well, this is quite the pickle... Keima Katsuragi, the God of Conquest (more like "best gal game player ever"!) has reconquered the girls playing host to five of the six goddesses needed to seal away the old demons and save the world from literally becoming hell on earth. And, as seen in the previous episode, he was just so close to losing at zero trust. How will Keima pull this off? We'll see...

Of course, spoiler alert to any who haven't...'seen the ending' yet.
Note: Yes, I know this post was typed last year, but better this get published late than never.

The End of Campione

Well, I've just finished watching this one harem series on Crunchyroll and my thoughts about this series as a whole will be after the jump cut...

Visual Novelist: Hakuoki ~Memories of the Shinsengumi~ #9 - The (Not any more) Secret Origin of Akurei and Niyagi.

Well, we have an implication that a nemesis met in another Let's Play series might be behind this plot as well... (Not really, all this stuff about Daemon Spearmeister is just part of the According to an Otaku LP Meta-plot.) Or, an extra parallel plot line that's influenced by the plot of the actual game. Hence the term, "Meta-plot"... And, yes, I do realise I should've explained this during the whole mess with Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors along with that first "Heroic BSOD" scene from the Ace Attorney series. (And that's not the only thing being explained. We're also going to reveal the reasoning behind a running gag specific to this LP.) (Is this going to be the one I think it is...?) Let's find out...

Warning!: This is based upon a game that's rated M for Blood, Strong Language, Suggestive (read 'Sexual') themes, and Violence. If any of these things offend you, don't click on the link.

Random Rambling Rants: Feminism, sexism and trolls.

To quote CuteFuzzyWeasel, "Time to feed the trolls..."

The following is a response to a troll post on Google+ so long that I need to use a blog post to contain not just my own text, but all the links that are going to be necessary to back it up. So, the actual meat of the post after the jump cut...

Sunday, May 18, 2014

Visual Novelist: Hakuoki ~Memories of the Shinsengumi~ #8 - The Culutral Translation War begins.

Well, now that NaNoWriMo is over... (And you failed...yet again.) ...We can post entries for the Let's Play series again! (Unless you count that job assessment...) Let's not go into that here and get on with the game already.

Note from the future: Yes, this post was originally typed November 2013.
Warning!: This is based upon a game that's rated M for Blood, Drug References, Strong Language, Suggestive (read 'Sexual') themes, and Violence. If any of these things offend you, don't click on the link.
Spoiler Warning: If you haven't seen the entirety of the Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors Let's Play; a part of this post will spoil part of the meta plot for that LP.

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #8 - Coin hunt, round two!

Welcome to the next post of the Visual Novelist Let's Play of Danganronpa! Where, in the last chapter, Sayaka Maizono was killed by Leon Kuwata and Leon himself was executed for it. (That actually happened.) While Makoto Naegi can now hear the voice of my character! (That was completely made up for this Let's Play's meta-plot.) Let's see what happens... (Real.) (Or faked.) ...in Chapter 2! (Also, the post contains the events of about one and a half days...)

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #7 - Death by Baseball Gun.

Sorry about this long drought between this and the previous post, but still...

(This is it, the first "Class Trial"!) And where I'll probably have to have some assistance with a recording device to report on what happens next...

Role-Playing Gamer: Conception II #2 - Star Child Boom!

Okay, this is the second part of my Let's Play of just the Demo of Conception II! (And... I have a Star Child avatar in the game! Boo-ya!) And, as you mentioned last time, someday Niyagi can join the fun. (And, just in case anyone's wondering. Yes, Shimo's actually saving in between every interaction with a heroine.) Maybe, that will be in the events of this post...

Warning: This game is rated M for mature for Fantasy Violence, Language, Mild Blood, Partial Nudity, and Sexual Themes. If any of the following offends you, don't click the link to pass the jump break you have been warned.

Role-Playing Gamer: Conception II #1 - It's time for...groan-inducing puns.

Well, here's the first post for yet another video game Let's Play series. (*looks up then looks down* Dude, if you couldn't tell that a game's going to have "Sexual Themes" from the fact that a game has a title like "Conception"... Then there's just something ****ed up with you!) Dude, no cussing 'till AFTER the jump break. (*sigh* Even I have to be involved in a game like this... Anyway, this Let's Play will start off with events from the demo first...) Note, I'm not playing this with any sort of guide what so ever (Not that Shimohi could even USE one seeing that, as of yet, there IS NO GUIDE to this game yet.) Oh well, on with the Let's Play!

Warning: This game is rated M for mature for Fantasy Violence, Language, Mild Blood, Partial Nudity, and Sexual Themes. If any of the following offends you, don't click the link to pass the jump break you have been warned.

Random Rambling Rants: The definition of "Mansplaining" and "Haruhi Suzumiya's a man's series!"

"And I am a man!" Zeta Gundam jokes (and an appeal to sense and not fostering fear at the end) aside, according to Know Your Meme "Mansplaining" is "An Internet slang term used to describe condescending and inaccurate explanations that are given under the assumption that the audience is entirely ignorant on the subject matter or topic." then again, there's the first posted Urban Dictionary definition which is, "To explain in a patronizing manner, assuming total ignorance on the part of those listening. The mansplainer is often shocked and hurt when their mansplanation is not taken as absolute fact, criticized or even rejected altogether. Named for a behavior commonly exhibited by male newbies on internet forums frequented primarily by women. Often leads to a flounce. Either sex can be guilty of mansplaining." (The bold bits are my emphasis) But it seems that a certain gaming group prefers to use the more "mens rights"-ish definitions from Urban Dictonary.com especially when trying to make a bully's victim look like just as much of a bully. Such as...

"A sexist term used by misandrist women to disrespect, belittle and devalue the opinion of her male peers in an attempt to make herself appear smarter or better in comparison." Dude! WTF!? I'm not misandrist and does not have to do with a insufficient self-image! But this one, unfortunately, describes what happened...

"Originally, this term was used to describe boorish men who felt the need to "correct" what a woman said, even on topics that the man didn't know anything about." Indeed...

"However, the term quickly degenerated into a get-out-of-jail-free card used by angry women when a man dares to point out even the most blatant error." *sigh*

Even women can make manga series that play to certain male fantasies, like for example...

  • "DearS" (magical girlfriend series) is created by Peach-Pit, the name for a duo of female manga-ka.
  • "Chobits" (another magical girlfriend series) is created by Clamp, the name for a group of FOUR female manga-ka.
Then again, there are other Shounen series (both FullMetal Alchemist and D.Gray-Man) that are made by female manga-ka, and those just happen to be a few of the series I like reading/watching, for one reason or another. Speaking of genres, terms like "Shounen" (teenage boys), "Shoujo" (teenage girls), "Seinen" (young men), or "Jousei" (young women) refer to target demographics, not necessarily to their content. For instance...

  • Claymore: A series mostly about an action girl, Clare, who just happens to be one of the eponymous "half-youma youma slayers" (shounen).
  • Natsume's Book of Friends: A slice-of-life series following the life of a teenage boy, Takashi Natsume, in which some (okay, a lot) of the (at times life threatening) problems he deals with involves his ability to see youkai...sometimes they're referred to as "ayakashi", oh well... (Shoujo).
And let's not forget a certain series that focuses on the antics of a teenage girl who's always looking for interesting things, and by "interesting" we mean "stuff that's obviously supernatural. And, maybe it's because both Claymore and this series have a male point-of-view character, "Haruhi Suzumiya" is...a seinen series. So, like I said at the beginning, Haruhi Suzumiya is a man's series! (No, I'm not repeating the Zeta Gundam joke!)

*Looks up* Wow, look the number of topic transitions I had to make to go from something that leaves me feeling distressed (the abuses of the aforementioned gaming group) to something I more enjoy talking about (facts and trivia involving the series I love so much)! And I'd rather not turn this blog about something I love into a criticism of an abusive group's sheltering of an asshole (a "hole" that spouts nothing but bullshit and hot air) who's likely to rape someone interfering with something else I love, tabletop role-playing games. But, if that's necessary to prevent someone else from getting hurt as badly or worse, then that's a burden I must shoulder...

Overthinking Things - The Fractally Crapsack World of Attack on Titan

If you've ever seen Shingiki no Kyojin, or better known as "Attack on Titan", you'd know this is most definitely not a happy world to live in. Humanity is driven to endangered status, there's these giant people-eating humanoids referred to as "Titans" running around, and the only thing keeping the endangered human race from becoming extinct is a large three-three walled city.

But does the levels of suck in this world end there? From certain hints I've seen, I think it's worse than we think...

TL;DR: Eren's dad not only did something to Eren's body but also altered his memories and the government within Wall Sina is most definitely hiding something...potentially fatal to the entire human race...

HUGE WARNING FOR BOTH EPILEPTIC TREES AND SPOILERS (both real and theoretical) AHEAD!

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #6 - The day the (pop) music died...

(I have only one thing to say for this instalment of the Danganronpa Let's Play... "It has begun...")

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #5 - The cursed DVD!

More of the same... (Or will something different happen?) (You know, I realized that last post didn't include any "extra scenes", aside from our usual chatter that happens in the other Let's Plays... Oh no, because I brought it up; that stuff's going to come back!)

Warning: This is an LP of a game that contains blood, intense violence, strong language, and suggestive (read "sexual") themes. If any of those things offend you, don't click on the link below.

PPS Officer: Pokemon Conquest #2 - Stream of Grinding.

Okay, and we're back! (About time as well! I mean, you're over six months late!) I'd rather not talk about the circumstances behind that. Anyway... Let's see what happens in the ancient kingdom of Aurora this time...

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #4 - Coin Hunting Time.

Time for another day in the life of an otherwise ordinary student being trapped in a school for the Ultimate High School Students! (Don't forget that the aforementioned "ordinary student" is being haunted by a amnesiac-by-death ghost...!) (That part's made up for this Let's Play and you know it!)

Warning: This is an LP of a game that contains blood, intense violence, strong language, and suggestive (read "sexual") themes. If any of those things offend you, don't click on the link below.

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #3 - Maya, Lina and Sayaka.

It's a new day at Hope's Peak Academy... (Where your character in this Intense Meta-plot is already dead.) Yeah, I just figured I'd take the usually figurative "ghosting" the protagonist we usually do and make it more literal. Despite what Daemon Spearmeister claimed near the end of the post, I must say. "You and I are the same, in the way that we each have our own style that we won't change. Yours if full of evil and mine is not, there is no way I can lose!"

Warning: This is an LP of a game that contains blood, intense violence, strong language, and suggestive (read "sexual") themes. If any of those things offend you, don't click on the link below.

Visual Novelist: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc #2 - The Ultimate Ghost...?

Yeah, I know the title of the last post was not elaborated on, but not only is it a reference to a catchphrase of the protagonist of "Hokuto no Ken", also known as "Fist of the North Star"... (Although the title more translates to "Fist of the Big Dipper"... By the way, said catchphrase is "You're already dead!") ...But it's also reversal of the title of the second post of the Hakuouki Let's Play, "I'm not dead yet"... Which is a reference to a song in the musical adaptation of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "Spamalot"! (I can't believe we already need to make a contribution to the Monty Python reference jar!) (I know, "that's an academy record"!) (...You two just don't know when to quit.)

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #21 - Reruns ahoy! ...or not?

And we're back! (You know, the readers are going to miss a hint we'll pick up during our run through the 2nd Class cabin in this playthrough.) Aw, don't worry, they'll get the more accurate version later. (If you say... Screw this! We are going to include the 2nd Class Cabin redo, and that's THAT!) Fine, there are some things I'm doing differently this time...

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #20 - So many (beserk) buttons...

Okay, continuing the third playthrough... We've seen Junpei die twice and now we meet this new guy... (Who's actually the same guy who stabbed Shimohi in the back, literally.) (I don't remember that happening at all!) (Okay, fine... *whispers* I'm just going to have to make sure it doesn't happen again...)

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #19 - Waking up from a long dream.

*Yawn* ...Dang, I hope that nightmare where I got literally stabbed in the back and drowned didn't actually happen...(Of course not! It was only a dream! If only your save file didn't get corrupted.) What!? (*whispers* Huh... That did almost happen, but the Pansy would rather not remember that.) Oh, right... Hopefully the third playthough will have a better ending... (Not likely...)

Overthinking Things: My Little Pony Friendship is Magic and the "Keys of Harmony"

Yeah, I know is being posted *after* Pinkie Pride (so, yeah, spoiler alert if you haven't seen these episodes) but if you've seen up to that episode or you're willing to read spoilers, I'll see you after the jump.

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #18 - The Revenge of Tin-foil Hat Time!

Okay, this is it, the dreaded torture room. (Not to mention, quite possibly the end of the second playthrough. And I already know, this isn't going to end well...)

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #17 - All the noodle incidents! ALL of them!

And we're back for more of Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors! (Actually, I noticed how that new mysterious voice wasn't heard at all behind Door 3. I wonder if that means something...?)

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #15 - (Attempting to) Screw Destiny!

We've escaped from the casino... (With out losing any of our money to the One-armed Bandit!) ...and reached C Deck. Well, let's see... what happens next, shall we?

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #6 - "Survival" Tactics.

Well, hopefully Junpei, June, Lotus, and Santa'll meet up with the others who haven't died a gruesome death by now. ([sarcasm] That's a really cheery way to start a post. [/sarcasm])

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #4 - Tin-foil Hat Time!

Here's the other half of what was originally going to be the third post. Anyway, from now on, all posts are going to stop after a room is completed, no matter how stupidly long these posts get as a result. (But...) Yes, the last post will be Grandfather Claused in.

PPS Officer: Pokemon Conquest #1 - All our Base are belong to us!

What do you get when you combine ancient Japanese warfare with cute collectable creatures? (More like "What do you get when you do a crossover with the Strategy RPG series "The Ambition of Oda Nobunaga" and the Mons series "Pokemon?") Either way, you get... ("Pokemon + Nobunaga no Yabou") better known in the States as "Pokemon Conquest". And, once again, Akurei no cussing allowed in this game. (*blows rasberry*) Right. Now let's take a Pokemon journey... into the past...

Note: For those of you who maybe also reading PPS Officer: Pokemon X Version, the color coded extra dialogue doesn't refer to the same Pokemon from that series. And, of course, normal red and blue are reserved for Akurei and Niyagi. As usual.

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #14 - Shimohi sucks at card games.

Yo, we're back, we've just escaped from the First Class Cabin, but from what I recall from the first time; we have one more room to escape from before we meet the other group again. (At least they have to deal with both the Second Class Cabin and the Kitchen this time around.)

Visual Novelist: 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors #13 - A door not opened yet...

Wow...It's been a while since I worked on this. (Maybe it's because we're going to see a whole load of **** we've already read before.) Yeah... Well, like I said before, we're only going to report if anything different happens. A note to the readers, this covers content from the third post of this LP.
