This Week in Animal Crossing New Leaf 7/7-7/13

Had to deal with trolls, and dealt with them by avoiding the online islands, but no more! I won't lose to the trolls...this week! I hope...
 
...and I just end up avoiding the online islands again. *Sigh*
2013/7/7

• Today, I'm testing a theory regarding the online islands and how the tours work: If I end up going on a tour by myself, will I end up on a different island? Bad news, didn't get to test said theory out; good news, ran into decent people the two times I went to the online islands! A dude and I completely PWNED the balloons at the official tour! WOOT!
• A meteor shower happened tonight: Wished upon some shooting stars, at least I think I did. And, yes, I'm aware that they're actually hunks of space rock falling to earth, not actual falling stars.
• Finally the Salon can change eye colors! Now my characters eyes are closer to that of my eye color in meatspace!
• Day two of Perfect Town status, put the second Jacob's Ladder flower in the hybrid flower breeding area; same as I did with that first one.
• For some reason I don't know and I don't think I can understand, Gloria the Snooty Duck was looking for a Miyama Stag beetle. That's got to be one of the strangest requests I've ever gotten in any Animal Crossing game.

2013/7/8

• Crazy Redd's tent showed up at Tasogare, bought a Quaint Painting (the real deal this time, I have a fake of it back at home)!
• Failed at maintaining a Perfect Town rating. Apparently I missed a flower near one of the lakes, so it wilted.

2013/7/9

• Donated the Quaint Painting I purchased yesterday to the museum. I wonder what the gift shop will sell if it has 30 or 50 works of art?
• Grave news for the Internet: Akurei, Tasogare's resident mad scientist and self-proclaimed "demon of a DJ", has just joined Club Tortimer. I fear for the rest of the world; except for the trolls who vandalize the islands, they'll have it coming.
• Space was plotted out for Kidd the Smug Goat's new home, I forgot which day he showed up on before but, he was previously a camper visiting Tasogare.

2013/7/10

• Kidd the Smug Goat moved into town, he's just unpacking now.
• Gloria the Snooty Duck is under the weather today, did she catch that from the Miyama Stag? Better wash my hands after bug hunting from now on.
• Managed to stop an island vandalism before it got too far; only a single tree was lost. Hurray! Still haven't been able to test Mondays theory yet.

• Not much, time travel involved to keep town alive.

• Same as yesterday.

• More time travel, yet again.
• Listened to K.K. Slider sing, I was grumpy (OK, really angry) at the time (about something in meatspace that morning)so...the song was K.K. Flamminco.
