Overthinking Things: The Classic Series Past holding clues to the Revived Series Future?

Yo! It's been a while since I've typed one of these posts, I mean, this sub-series could've ended up being the title of this very blog and all. Still... On John Hurt's TV Tropes.org page it reads... (more of this after the jump break, after all it was spoiler marked on that page.)

"...he's also appeared on Doctor Who as...a mysterious incarnation of the Doctor, whose actions caused him to be disowned by the others." When I read that, that reminded me of something. Even though I haven't seen the arc of stories involving this myself yet but... that description reminded me of the villain from the "Trial of a Time Lord" arc, one of the adventures of the Sixth Doctor; The Valeyard, who was descriped on the Doctor Who Characters page for Villains on TV Tropes.org as "a future aspect of all the Doctor's evil and malice born from his 12th and final regenerations." ...

Sounds rather similar to the description of that "mysterious incarnation of the Doctor" to me. So, here's my (a least to me not so) crazy fan theory...

"We'll see The Valeyard re-appear, or rather how he was 'born', in the near future of the series."

This could be a case of the future influencing the past (or vice-versa) or I could just be... Overthinking things...
